Non Traditional Weddings Are Increasingly Popular
For many people, getting married should follow a well worn script. It should take place in a church, synagogue, or other religiously consecrated building. It should be performed by a member of the clergy. It should be a formal occasion, with the bride in a dress costing thousands of dollars and the groom in an expensive tuxedo. This is the traditional, story book wedding, and it’s the choice of millions of people who get married every year. And there’s certainly nothing wrong with that.
